Exploring housing is no small task: it stands at the meeting point of the personal and the political, where fundamental rights collide with speculation. Housing shapes our private lives as much as it shapes our cities and landscapes. It is also at the heart of one of our society’s greatest crises. How can we build more to meet the needs of the 4 million people in France living in poor conditions — or 15,5% of the EU population? How can we adapt housing to a changing climate? Through new forms of cohabitation, innovative ways of owning and managing property, and fresh building methods — we can, above all, invent new ways of living.
