ANMA MAG #1 #2 #3 #4

A Series of Magazines

Ultra-contextuality, economic lightness, ordinary–extraordinary, high quality of use, the poetry of the unnecessary — over the years, ANMA has continued to refine its architectural language. The Agence Nicolas Michelin & Associés approaches each project as a unique, tailor-made creation, designed specifically for its site and its users. Over the past 20 years, the agency’s body of work has grown richer through its built projects and has evolved through encounters with committed actors, forward-thinking elected officials, artists, and rigorous engineers. Its practice engages directly with contemporary debates on negotiated urbanism, new modes of construction, solidarity-based economies, resource management, and the third industrial revolution. Each project emerges from a long-term process of dialogue and negotiation.

Conceived and produced by AHA, this annual magazine series presents a selection of themes and projects, showcasing a diversity of approaches and responses — broadening our understanding of an ever-evolving agency. ANMA MAG #1 (2014), #2 (2015), #3 (2017), #4 (2019)
