Winner of the 2024 Équerre d'argent for the rehabilitation of the upper station of the Salève cable car (74), the office Devaux Devaux Architectes develops projects of restoration, transformation, and new construction. Its approach is grounded in a careful reading of places, their history and their evolution, in order to understand their reason for being and to assess their potential in light of contemporary ecological and cultural concerns. Since 2025, Claudia Devaux has been Professor of Practice at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) within the ADHER laboratory, and directs the studio Restore, Transform and Create-Practice.
