png is a member of the AJAP14 collective and was the curator of the French Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2014. After an initial visit to the rehabilitation of Fort l’Écluse in the Haut-Jura Regional Natural Park, AHA proposed an immersion into png’s world through a journey across the Vercors and Taillefer mountain ranges. The aim is to discover two public facilities: an ecosite for resource and waste management built with solid Vercors timber in Villard-de-Lans (38), and, in a highly preserved vernacular setting in Saint-Barthélemy-de-Séchilienne (38), the rehabilitation of the town hall and the creation of a socio-cultural hall facing the historic village.
