Loci Anima is an architecture, design, and urban planning studio founded in 2005 by Françoise Raynaud. Based in Paris and winner of several international competitions, the office has developed a distinctive approach driven by the desire to bring people and disciplines together, and to build connections between the constructed and the living — designing buildings as living organisms. This philosophy is embodied in projects such as the Pont-d’Issy district, the Millefeuille Tower in Manhattan, the Weston showroom on the Champs-Élysées, the Les Fauvettes cinema, the Alpha Media Library in Angoulême, and the A4 East macro-lot in Boulogne-Billancourt, among others.
For Loci Anima, we conceived, produced, and developed a website that highlights the agency’s guiding principles — adapt, absorb, dialogue — constants that run through its rich and original body of work, much like its founder herself.
