Archetype of the residential suburb or laboratory of a neo-suburb? With its pretty houses and its covered market accessible by bike from the business district of La Défense, Houilles arouses a lot of attachment and much desire. Before making structural decisions, the City of Houilles takes a break and invites residents to talk about what they expect, fear and what they value the most. The City entrusted A H A with the visual and editorial identity of this XXL consultation. We called it "Houilles à Voix Haute" ("Houilles Out Loud") capitalizing on the H of Houilles, H of habitat, height, horizon, heritage and hammock. To encourage everyone to participate in public meetings, A H A designed a large poster campaign in the city based on portraits of inhabitants, photographed in the streets of the city.Their verbatim is associated with more metaphorical questions (the meaning of life) or more anecdotal (the meaning of the street), because before planning the city, you have to imagine the future.
