Crossroads

L'Ensa Saint-Étienne opens up horizons for future architects

At the National School of Architecture in Saint-Etienne, a refreshing spirit is in the air, perhaps fueled by the paradoxes of a setting that juxtaposes a refinery and rurality, design and poverty, black soil and green jerseys. This is a human-scale school, driven by a committed team.

Crossroads is a highly stimulating two-day event of panel discussions and workshops designed to outline the thousand possible career paths for architecture students feeling slightly adrift: from eco-anxiety to archi-anxiety?

And yet, architecture has all the tools to synthesize the complexity of contemporary challenges. Ensase, alongside others, opens up horizons for future architects—they are the ones who will build the world of tomorrow, a deconstructed world where architecture has a role to reclaim... but only if it deconstructs itself as well ;) Go green!
