Cathedral
Sophie Delhay
Sophie Delhay creates tailor-made life scenarios for their inhabitants. She tears down the conventions of housing to compose interfaces between the intimacy of the habitat and the collective. In the suburbs of Dijon, the architect resists the segregation of urban forms by proposing 22 apartments, 5 houses and 5 intermediate dwellings constituting a unitary whole. These 32 apartments are distinguished by their cathedral living rooms crossing the apartment from side to side.
