These two operations by Christelle Avenier and Miguel Cornejo have the common denominator of housing in the 21st century, but also brick and its contemporary implementation with striking patterns, colors and effects. The first is an operation of 22 social housing units for Habitat Social Français opposite the Town Hall of the 12th arrondissement in Paris, a hollow plot and the history of Haussmannian architecture to be reinterpreted. The second raises issues of urban couture and identity, on a plot adjoining the Grands Moulins, along the Ourcq canal in Pantin. Urban, architectural and landscaping response, these 88 housing units for Emerige and Semip are developed in three plots which provide, on the canal side, a small public square, a new gathering place for the district, and in the heart of the block a charming garden designed by Bassinet Turquin .
