Peri-urban artifact and machine building

Offices, workshop and logistics site for the company Balas

As a fusion architecture office, FUSO defines itself as a link within a multidisciplinary network formed by architects, engineers, lawyers, economists, landscape architects, scenographers, entrepreneurs, craftsmen and industrialists. It is also a prospecting tool at the forefront of shifts and future changes in the city. In an industrial urban fabric mainly made up of warehouses and offices, in Gennevilliers, 4km north-west of Paris, FUSO delivers its interpretation of the "machine building". By formulating a response to the formal and programmatic needs of the new headquarters, workshop and logistics site of the construction company Balas, FUSO anticipates the changes in the company, with a 810×540 cm structural grid, a multiple of the classic 1.35m grid, allowing the current parking's reversibility.
